Organising your team and tasks when you run several businesses
Who works where, who does what, and how to make sure nothing falls between two activities: staff register, tasks and log.
With several activities, the same people sometimes work across several businesses, and tasks get lost between two conversations. A few simple rules are enough to stay in control.
Know who works where
Keep a simple staff register for each business: the role, contact details, contract and time off. At a glance, you know who is present and who is away.
One task, one person, one date
A task with no owner is done by nobody. Assign each task to a specific person with a deadline.
Keep a trace of what was handled
A log of actions (who handled what, and when) avoids duplicates and helps you understand what happened if there is a problem.
Give everyone the access they need
Invite your colleagues with suitable roles: some manage, others view. Sensitive information, such as salaries, is visible to administrators only.
With Pilot-Biz
Each business has its staff list with a record (contract, seniority, time off and absences), tasks are assigned and a log traces the actions. Roles limit access to sensitive data.
