An entrepreneur’s morning check-in: a ten-minute checklist

A short routine, to do every morning, to know what is urgent across all your activities before the day starts.

Morning is the best time to decide what matters. A short routine, always the same, stops you from spending the day reacting. Here is a ten-minute checklist, usable with any tool.

1. Urgent items first (2 minutes)

Failed payments, stuck orders, complaints: everything that loses money or trust if it waits. Handle or assign immediately.

2. Unanswered messages (3 minutes)

Scan WhatsApp and email. Answer the quick messages and note the others as tasks.

3. Yesterday’s figures (2 minutes)

How much was collected, and in which business? Is there a gap with the month’s goal?

4. Today’s tasks (2 minutes)

Pick three tasks at most, assign them, give a deadline. More than three, and nothing really gets finished.

5. The team (1 minute)

Who is in, who is away, who needs help?
