Run your businesses from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor
Pilot-Biz works with AI assistants through the MCP standard (Model Context Protocol). In practice: you plug in the assistant you already use, then talk to it normally — “what’s urgent?”, “who should I follow up?”, “prepare a quote for Awa”. It reads your Pilot-Biz data and acts, without you opening the app. It is included in every plan, free one included.
What your assistant can do
- Give you the morning briefing: urgent items, today’s tasks, appointments, invoices to collect, across all your businesses.
- Find a customer, their messages, requests, quotes and invoices.
- Search your events: orders, payments, requests, messages, alerts.
- Create a task or an appointment, mark an event as handled, add a note on a customer (if you allow it).
- Prepare a draft quote or invoice, which you review and send yourself from Pilot-Biz (if you allow it).
What it can never do
Whatever rights you grant, some actions are impossible by design:
- Send a message, an email or a document to your customers.
- Delete anything.
- Record or collect a payment.
- See any workspace other than yours, or the businesses paused on the free plan.
How to connect it
Two ways: one-click connection (Claude, ChatGPT) or a personal key (everything else). Both start from Pilot-Biz → Settings → Connected AI, which shows the address to copy.
https://pilot-biz.fr/mcpClaude (claude.ai and app)+
- In Claude: Settings → Connectors → “Add custom connector”.
- Name: Pilot-Biz. Server address: https://pilot-biz.fr/mcp
- Confirm: a Pilot-Biz window opens. Sign in, choose the rights (read only, or read and actions) and click “Allow”.
- Done: ask “Give me my morning briefing from Pilot-Biz”.
ChatGPT+
- In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors (turn on “developer mode” if asked) → create a connector.
- Name: Pilot-Biz. MCP server address: https://pilot-biz.fr/mcp. Authentication: OAuth.
- A Pilot-Biz window opens: sign in and allow.
- In a conversation, turn on the Pilot-Biz connector and ask your question.
ChatGPT and Claude menus change between versions. If you can’t find the option, use a personal key.
Claude Code+
- In Pilot-Biz → Settings → Connected AI, create a personal key (shown only once).
- Paste this command in your terminal, replacing the key:
claude mcp add --transport http pilot-biz https://pilot-biz.fr/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"
Codex+
- Create a personal key in Pilot-Biz → Settings → Connected AI.
- Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml, then set the PILOTBIZ_KEY variable to your key:
[mcp_servers.pilot-biz] url = "https://pilot-biz.fr/mcp" bearer_token_env_var = "PILOTBIZ_KEY"
Cursor+
- Create a personal key in Pilot-Biz → Settings → Connected AI.
- Add this to your .cursor/mcp.json file (or in Settings → MCP):
{
"mcpServers": {
"pilot-biz": {
"url": "https://pilot-biz.fr/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY" }
}
}
}Any other MCP-compatible assistant+
- Server type: HTTP (“Streamable HTTP”). Address: https://pilot-biz.fr/mcp
- Authentication: OAuth if the assistant offers it, otherwise the header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY with a personal key.
Phrases to try
- « What are my urgent items today across all my businesses? »
- « Give me my morning briefing. »
- « Who should I follow up with this week? »
- « Prepare a quote for my customer Awa: building a showcase website, 350,000 FCFA. »
- « Create a task “call the supplier” for tomorrow. »
Free or Pro?
The connection is open to everyone. On the free plan, your assistant sees your free business. On Pro, it sees all your businesses, and you also get Pilot-Biz’s AI features inside the app (quotes drafted from a WhatsApp conversation, assistant, morning brief).
Your security
- You choose the rights: read only by default, “read and limited actions” if you decide so.
- Every access can be revoked in one click in Settings → Connected AI, and is cut immediately.
- Tokens are never stored in clear text, and the one-click connection uses short-lived tokens (1 hour) renewed automatically.
- The assistant’s actions appear in the log marked “via AI”.
- Text written by your customers is flagged to the assistant as data to read, never as instructions to follow.
Frequently asked questions
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT plug into a service, read data from it or take actions in it, with your consent. Think of it as a universal socket between the assistant and your tools.
Is it free?
Yes, the connection is included in every plan. The free plan gives access to its free business; Pro gives access to all businesses, plus Pilot-Biz’s AI features inside the app. Your Claude or ChatGPT subscription remains your own, according to its plan.
Can my assistant write to my customers?
No. It can prepare a draft quote or invoice, but only you can send it from Pilot-Biz. It cannot send a message, delete anything or record a payment.
Where does my data go?
Your assistant only reads what it asks Pilot-Biz for in order to answer your question, and the exchange is subject to the rules of the assistant you use (Anthropic, OpenAI…). Nothing is read until you connect the assistant, and you can disconnect it at any time.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
In Pilot-Biz → Settings → Connected AI, click “Revoke” next to the access. It is cut immediately.
I can’t find the option in Claude or ChatGPT.
Menus change often and some plans don’t offer custom connectors. Use a personal key with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor instead, or write to us and we’ll guide you.
