Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress: receive every order in a central dashboard
The three most common platforms can notify an outside tool for every order. Here is where to set it up, without writing code.
Shopify, WooCommerce and WordPress are among the most used tools for selling online. All of them can send a notification to an outside address at each important event, which is called a webhook.
The general idea
You copy an address provided by your dashboard and paste it where the platform asks where to send notifications. At every new order, the platform tells the dashboard.
Shopify
In the shop settings, the notifications section lets you add a webhook for new orders. You choose the event, paste the address and save.
WooCommerce
In WooCommerce’s advanced settings, a section dedicated to webhooks lets you create a notification on order creation, with the destination address.
WordPress and forms
For a WordPress site with a contact or quote form, a small addition lets you receive every form submission. For a mailbox dedicated to requests, you can also connect the mailbox in read-only mode.
With Pilot-Biz
Give the site’s address to the setup assistant: it recognises the technology and shows the exact place to paste the link. It confirms as soon as the first event arrives.
